ActionScript lets you add interactivity and playback control to your Flash file. ActionScript is a scripting language. It has reserved keywords and rules of syntax that must be followed.

Using ActionScript is a broad and deep topic. Fortunately, you can begin adding interactivity and other functions to your files with simple actions. This instruction will only scratch the surface of what you can do with ActionScript. If you would like more information after completing the lessons, read the topics below.
